At an event hosted by the Association of Project Management attended by employers and Service Leavers considering Project Management as a career. Lots of insightful input and advice from veterans working in project management and the businesses who value their ex-Service employees.

A very useful visit to the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) Careers Fair at Murrayfield yesterday. I enjoyed meeting a wide variety of employers across the public and private sectors who understand the value of recruiting Service Leavers.

I had a really interesting morning at Castle Huntly for the national meeting of Veterans in Custody Support Officers, chaired by Scottish Prison Service Director of Operations Andy Hodge. This type of collaboration and sharing of best practice between statutory services - including the Ministry of Defence - and the third sector is well aligned with the recommendations in my Veterans and the Law report. 🔗 You can read my report in full using the "Other links" section in my bio.
