2 | Through our work within the General Practice Recognition Scheme and the Fife pilot project, establish processes and provide information on good practice regarding veterans’ health records held in primary healthcare systems. | We are identifying practices to participate in the pilot element of the GP Armed Forces and Veterans Recognition scheme. Training is also being developed which highlights best practice for General Practice such as ensuring that new patients are asked to identify their veteran status and encouraging veterans to self-identify so that full medical records can be sought. | ![]() |
